Anyone have any stock axle housings they want to get rid of? I'm looking for CHEAP ones. I want to try and clearance the bottom of mine, but want to practice on some trashed ones.
I would like to find one of each (front and rear) to practice on.

I know, I know. Not the best axle to build. But it works good here in Oregon. Mud doesn't put as much stess on the axles as rocks do. People here run stock axles with 36's and mazda rotory engines, and they hold up fine. I will only be running 33's for now, and would like to gain a little more clearance. Might just hack into mine, and not waist money on buying others, then I can start saving for toys.:)
Or maybe some ford 9's:rolleyes:

I'll have a trashed rear housing in a couple of weeks, you can have it, but you'd have to pay for shipping. Lemme know if you want it.

There are even a few people running 38.5x11.5 boggers with stock axles (:nuke: )! I will be running 33's, stock axles, 1.3l w/ weber and header and I feel this will be pushing it. I will not be running anything bigger than a 33, because I want to do some rock crawling. But for the mud, I think they will be OK. If I'm wronge, I can some new axles sooner:)

dangerber, I would like to have that rear axle if shipping isn't too much. do you think this would ship UPS? Any ideas how much shipping would be (97479)?

Ok, I hope to have it out of my rig next week, maybe sooner, so I'll throw it on the scale when it is pulled, and see if I can get an estimate.
