I have a crate engine that has a stamped number behind the alternator.
It a replacement 350 truck engine with a roller cam. Cast number shows it was cast between 1995 and 2000.
The stamped number is VF205695 (the 0 may be a 6).
Could someone give me more information on what it is?
How about a link to a number decoder so I can find what compression ratio, torque, horsepower and that kind of stuff.
I recently converted it from a 4 barrel to TBI injection and I need info to reprogram the chip.
The TBI injection came from a 1988 pickup with a 350. I used the factory harness and it seems to work ok.
