This just started happening today. yesterday I cut the exhaust off just behind the cat. I also was going through hoses on the carb and snipping the ends off so they fit snug, when I found a ball bearin in a hose. The hose was the one on the left of the carb that comes out of the intake manifold and goes up and then loops directly back down and into a silver round vacuum valve thingy? any know what this is? Oh and I also got it stuck with the front end up at about 75 degrees for like 15 minutes, yesterday. So, does any one know what the oil light under breaking could mean??
before you cats flame me, I havent looked at anything yet because I dont have a porch light and live in BFE.

yeah , that sounds likely. also, you may have a weird short. check all your bulbs, and GROUNDS. A bad ground will only try to make your system get rid of the juice anywhere it can, like through other bulbs, and such.
as to the ball bearing in the hose, you got me on that. I've replaced all hoses before, and never found a ball bearing in one. bearings like that belong in the carb, or in the pvc valve, not in a hose, take it out. only vacuum is supposed to be in there.

good luck with that

Generally, if you find a ball bearing in a vacuum line it was put there for a reason. The item that is supplied vacuum through that tube is either bad/leaking, or they wanted to stop it from working for a driveability reason. Either way, it is a work around for a problem somebody couldn't or didn't want to repair.

And the big winner is.......ROCKMOLESTER. Coming in at 3 quarts low. So my leak is attributed top a rip in the gasket on the oil filler cap. running down the back of the block and then going to the exhaust so I have no drip marks... Shady shit. But on a positive note, my toy axles will be here tommorow.
