The Goodyear RT II's are possibly the worst tire for rocks EVER!!!! The set that we are running on the XJ cannot hookup on anything, even the slickrock in Moab. This after extensive grooving to increase the biting edges. Also, since they don't hook up, you end up spinning tires a lot, and thus wearing them out quickly.

If you can afford it, get ANYTHING ELSE!

I figured the 36" RT II were not so good, but had to ask. What about the 37" military Goodyear MT? Thanks again

As flashover said, they don't hook up for shit. Mine are grooved fairly extensively as well w/ lots of treadlife left and I HATE them. If you're putting around some mild trails, they may be OK but they suck for rocks.
