PSC Motorsports has just released the long awaited hydraulic assist steering system for the 03’ and newer TJ Wrangler’s and Rubicon’s. The system replaces the factory ZF type steering gear with the superior Saginaw gear. The Saginaw gears are modified by PSC to be a direct bolt-on replacement of the factory gear. The PSC gears also offer several different valving and steering ratio options that are not available with the ZF gear. The hydraulic assist system is offered in two versions. The Trail & Street kit (http://www.pscmotorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=102_116&products_id=142) utilizez the factory pump with an 8” stroke 1.5” bore cylinder and the Extreme Duty system (http://www.pscmotorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=102_116&products_id=141) which includes a High Displacement P pump conversion kit and is used with the larger 8” stroke 1.75” bore steering cylinder.
