sounds temptng, espically since i am going back to tenn for the summer. but it sounds like upper and lower buzzworm (trail 2), and guardrail, helicopter pad are what you guys are looking for and the little scout ain't ready for that yet. maybe towards the end of the summer i'll jump in and tag along.

I may be going up that weekend with a group also. Someone told me that they blasted lower 2 and now a stock rig can make it up :mad3: Any truth to that?

RockJeep, where in GA do you live? I'm in the Lawrenceville area.

Some guys on the Rover forum are headed up that weekend also.

I drove up lower 2 in November and it was not "paved".

they knocked down the last big ass ledge on lower 2. definitely not paved but the hardest spot is gone.

Ok, so the last big obstacle on lower 2 is gone now. In my book that makes it paved.

What I heard is that the forest service, try as they did, could not keep 4wheelers and motorcycles from blazing new paths up the hill, so they made the trail doable for anyone. :mad3:

they is definitely the forest service. you could see the tracks from big earth moving equip. dont know the reason but the one about the fourwheelers makes sense. they are constantly making new bypasses and knocking down barriers on lower 2 and at most of the other tough spots in tellico. probably most everywhere else too.

Wrong .It was a large hybrid rig that done the moving.Trail two and Mistletoe are slated for closing to fourwheelers and motorcycles this fall if conditions persist. We just had two large rains here last night so believe me it will be a challenge!!!!

The hybrid rig hammered it so hard that he completely demolished the entire ledge? I find that hard to believe.

I was there at the end of March...

The big rock ledge has just been knocked down into the rest of the pile of rocks that make up the trial. It is not paved...a 4wheeler still cant make it up it (unless your a damn good rider). Without the ledge there it isnt quite as difficult.

It was very, very dry, and rigs with 38's were crawling it pretty easily. A buddy was there a month ago when it was wet and said it was still pretty difficult with his 39.5's.
