For those of you who even knew that I have been offline for a while, I am back. I sold my house in November and survived with the inlaws for a few months while buying land and getting things ready to build a house. I am now living in a 30 x 40 metal building in the back yard while starting to build my wife's house. If I were a single man, knowing what I know now , I would build a shop twice this size and make half of it a home and the other half a workshop. But I am not single, so the house is being built. My cruiser currently sits under my dads barn where I am sure it has become home to some rats and other creatures by now, but that will soon change.
It feels good to be back in touch with the rest of the cruiser world.
Oh yeah, hello to all the newbies. Someones been recruiting or something because I dont recognize too many screen names.

Wondered where you went, glad you're back. I know what you mean about the need for a nice, big shop. My youngest graduates from high school in 4 weeks, I keep thinking I ought to move somewhere less expensive, buy some land, and build that shop.

You still in the Baton Rouge area?

John

(sent you the 3-speed bellhousing for your SM420 install a few years ago, how's it working?)

The sm420 conversion turned out fine. It's probably the best modification that I have done along with the soa. I am now living about 40 miles north of Baton Rouge. It is getting too crowded around there. Good to hear from you John.
