I want to put a better steering wheel on in place of the stock on my 88 Sami and I also want want of those kits where you can yank off the wheel on the fly. I've asked a few auto part stores and they have no clue. What are some of you guys that have aftermarket wheel and maybe the disconnect using?

Summit Racing carries the quick disconnects. I think they are $26 for a hex hub, or around $60 for a splined hub (much tighter fitting design- less slop).

There's a few options for the bolt pattern on the steering wheel, something like a Grant would definitely work.

If you are going to go the quick disconnect route, I'd stick the biggest diameter wheel on there that doesn't hit your legs, and still allows you to use the clutch. And replace the rag joint with a U-joint.

There is no aftermarket disconnect that fits a zuk steering wheel.
