I am trying to figure out how to change my vacumm wiper motor to a 12 volt electric motor and I want it to mount in the factory spot on the firewall. I know there is an aftermarket kit available. I was just curious if someone might have figured out how to do it themselves.

I thought CJ wiper motors were only located inside the cab above the winshield.

I know the kit that JC Whitney used to sell used them. I am speaking about from a 60's era CJ5. They were on the outside... I thought so, anyway.
