welity welity welity well........ these guys are not much help huh?

I have a 89 f150 with a 6" lift by procomp. they are pretty resonable as as far as prices go so that is one idea

second you can find a 2" lift spacer that sits ontop of your exsisting coil and will level out your vehicle nicely or correct for add-a-leafs witch is what i am going o use them for, so i will have a total of 8" of masssive SUSPENSION lift and not the cheap body crap!!! ohh and you can find them herewww.truckperformance.com
in the suspension section, there 99.99 and i THINK free shipping but don't quote me on that

any other Q's just PM me

I KNOW ALL:beer:

You can take to 4 wheel parts and have a lift put on, but it will probably be hard as a rock. You can put longer coils on there, but you will have to do some work on your steering and track bar to keep the tires centered and the bump steer tolerable. You can put the spacers on there but will have the same problem. Also, you will have to worry about caster. If you lift it too much then it will throw caster off and you'll have a hard time keeping it on the road.

All that being said, I'd go with longer coils, they're cheap. I didn't pay attention to what kind of rig you have but you can get EB coils for $150 that rock.

nothing like giving the boys some info or anything there steve......... :flipoff2:
ok guys, is there any coils from a stock truck(so longer stock coils that will fit into the f-150)
its a 82 f-150 if i remember.........
looking for something around 2-3" of lift, not too high........ maybe a little stiffer because its also a plow truck in the winter....... enough lift to clear 33"s......... any custom jobs would be better, i could rig up just about anything we need.......... as long as ya buy the metal there steve.......:D

Is a 8" lift really necessary to run 35"s?

Some dealers will sell springs seperate, I bought a set of 8" over for my 80 f-150. But to buy just the coils w/out the lift system you won't be able to get you alignment right if you go over 2"

well, no but i'm planing on runing 36's by the end of the summer so i will need it. My 35's rubbed at little with the 6" litf
and damb it looks bad ass, i'll have to post a pic of it some time, to lazy to get one developed, dont have a digital.flipoff2:

oh and i just put some ladder bars on, holy crap what a difference they made!!!!!:D :D

i came up with a pretty simple desing, just a piece of square tubing that i cut one of the sides out of so it would fit over the shock mount, then a tube that runs from that to the frame, and conects to the frame with one of those bushings that can pivot in thamselvs. and to attatch it to the frame i just bolted a box section to the frame. took me all of about 5 hours and made a huge diff. now i can get ALL of the I6 ford power to the ground!!!!:flipoff2:
