well, considering that 315s normally end up at roughtly 35" tall, i'd say that's a definete maybe.

have you talked to christo about this? he knows more about 80s than most.

We have 35" MTR's on our 80... We went with a 3" OME lift. ('91 80 series)

Contact Slee off road...

(Btw... lifted with no cutting or turning :D )

Exactly, call Christo Slee and he'll fix you up.

ya, i live about 15min from slee offroad in golden CO.. ill go speak with Ben or Christo. i went to them to get the 2-1/2 ome for my wifes 3rd gen runner. i want to keep the stock rims on the fzj and bfg's usually run on the small side. so all ill need is 4- 3" springs, 4- shocks, and cc bushings?

OME Mediums on both ends will clear 315's with minimal scrub at full stuff.
If you have or plan to get ARB/winch and steel rear bumper/tire carrier then you want to go with the OME heavies. After you swap to the 315 get ready to regear. Sucks the life of the truck with stock gears.

I have OME J springs front and rear with a 1" spacer up front and run 315 BFG Muds with no problems.

The rear rubs at full compress but thatcan be corrected with the slee bump stops.

Wheels awesome. The 315s make it a point and shoot wheeler.

4.5 inches of lift running 315s. They never rub.

My recommendation would be J springs. You are also going to have to do brake lines and I'd use caster plates instead of those bushings. I run a 315 Toyo which is a taller 315 and I rub slightly on the flare at full stuff. I use a 1" steel spacer to level the front out but it wasn't neccessary for tire fitment. 91s lift more than FZJs. I've had both with the same springs and the 91 definitely went taller. I do not know exactly why.
