WELL,
sounds like i'm gonna be tearing into my zuki (no real bites:D )
so i've got some questions...
1. spoa includes...
-new/relocated spring pads
-new lower shock mounts
-extended brake lines
-steering mods
-extended bump stops
is that pretty much it? as far as axle positioning, can i just have the pads welded onto the opposite side of the current spring under pads or do i want to adjust the pinion angle to compensate for the axle's new position under the spring?
if i have to recalculate, im sure i could search and find the equation.
2. should i keep the current axles and just adapt sammy stuff for em? anyone wheeled hard on one of these old boys?
3. or should i just find a set of sammy axles someone is selling since they're goin to toys? i'm leaning towards the sammy's since i can actually get parts, can just buy and install an OTT kit, spring pads, and shock mounts.
the only reason i'd keep the lj10's are that they have a 5.66:1 R&P...creating an overall ratio of 70:1...
thanks
brian.
