I Am About To Start My First Jeep Project... I Got A '79 Cj5 With A 350 Sb And The Body Is Shot,,, I Came Across A 95 Wrangler Tub For Cheap! ($250) With No Rust And No Dings! How Much Modification Would It Take?

if you indeed have a cj-5 then the wrangler tub is going to be ~10" too long.
you can use google to search the board if you don't want to anti up just yet.

Get a YJ frame. Transfer your drivetrain over. Bolt on the tub.

You will be happier in the end. Stronger frame, body will bolt on, and no chopping.

put tub on ebay and turn some cash n get another cj5 tub, alot less work. Ive got 600 out of tubs on ebay. Ive also seen some nice cj5 tubs on there as well. Good luck.

I know anything about Jeeps. It will take some modification. You need a sawzall and a welder or a sawzall and duct tape and the tape measure geberhard supplied above.

I was just informed zip ties can be substituted for duct tape at your own risk.
