: Swaybar question on 88 4 runner Mud Dragon 10-08-2006, 10:17 AM I went to Uwharrie for 3 days and ripped off 2 bolts hold on my swaybar on the front of my 88 4 runner. If I pull it off how will it handle and I think it will help the offroad side. Its my DD and I only drive about 20 min. to work and I don't get about 60 mp. So would you pull it off. Just wanted to check before I cause more problems. Thanks bbagwell 10-08-2006, 11:05 AM Take the son of a bitch sway bar off and throw it in the garbage. It will free up a little suspension travel. My IFS truck rode better after I ditched the sway bar. Yeah it swayed a little more, but you get used to it.
