Has anyone 86ed the stock E Brake on a FJ40. The handle and all the way back ? I was thinking of getting a foot push down ebrake floor mount from a chevy truck or something ? Has anyone done this and if so what year did they use ? Any problems with the firewall strengh ?

The reason I am doing this is cause the stock one hits my gas pedel and tilt steering colum.

Also I have a Dana 60 with a Atlas 4.3 so ther is no transfer case brake.
