I think that I'm second guessing myself. Will 5.13 Yukon gears and full spool handle a 390 and up to 42 inch TSL's in my rear D60 with 30 spline shafts?

I'd upgrade to a better rearend personaly. fordraceboy 10-09-2006, 09:17 PM you run empty and keep the weight down, the axle's will take it for quite a while, and the spool will help by making sure both sides get even abuse:D ... I run a pretty stout 390 with 38.5x15 boggers on my crewcab and haven't broken the 60 yet and i never worry about breaking, it'll just give me an excuse to put in the 10.5" sooner...... willysrul 10-10-2006, 11:05 AM Plans are to take off the bed and shorten the fram just a bit in the rear. I take it that getting a little of the weight off the rear end would help....for awhile. Currently running 36's but I'm planning down the road. Thanks guys. | |
