i think JP magazine checked this one out and had good things to say about it.i thought of running one on my yj, but then stumbled across the price. i think it would be cheaper to stuff a 350 under the hood for power, but it is also more work. check out JP's website, they must have something on it there.

I've never understood the attraction of an alluminum head on a cast iron block. That's one of the things I like best about my 4.0. Cast head, cast block, no changing head gaskets as routine maintenance.

Besides which, my word, $1800!?:eek:

The added cooling efficiency of aluminum vs. iron allows for higher compressions ratios without detonation. Reverse flow cooling amplifies this effect by cooling the heads first before running through the rest of the block. And its lighter to boot.
