I'm looking for ways to lighten/widen my truck. I'm interested in making molds of the panels and modifying them, but do not know much about making custom pieces out of fiberglass or plastic and am wondering if anyone has had any experience in this field.

Definitely look for an aftermarket supplier. Creating a mold to produce only a few sets of body parts will never be worth the time, unless you (or a buddy) works at a 'glass shop.
