need help with warn 8274 winch mounting plate for a cj-7, i want to make one
i would like to see some pic of the plate and dimensions for the plate if any
one would have them it would help a lot I'd like to make it a bolt on plate rather then weld the plate on so i can remove it if i need to:beer:

I just fabbed up my mount for an 8274 and am interested to know if you guys think that the four bolts for the front tow hooks are enough for the winch to be bolted to? Or do I need to fab some plates to tie into the side of the frame rails.

That's the way Warn designed theirs.. but since you have the ability to fab a plate to tie it into the side of the frame rails, I would suggest it. When I purchased my old 8274 for my last jeep, it came with a warn plate for a cj7 and the guy welded additional plates on the mount to attach it to the side
