Looking at buying a 95' Dodge 2500 2wd, CTD, with 155,000 miles on it. Newer shocks, new brakes, air bags, brake controller, tires are about 30% tread left. It has a Banks boost, but I am not sure what it consist of. It has the gauges but doesn't have any buttoms to adjust stages. Anyone know what may have been done with the Banks boost or how that works?
What would you expect to pay for a truck like this in fair to good condition?

the banks stuff is most likely a fuel plate, turbo housing and bigger exhaust.
possibly a different intake also.
the 95 is a 12v with mechanical injection, so there is no way to just push a button to up the power levels.
the 98.5 and newer have electronic FI and the boxes for those allow adjustment by just pushing a button.

He is asking $5,300 but told my friend his low price was $4,700. This one I found searching appears to be in much better condition.....

Is it auto or manual? If its auto has the tranny been rebuilt? Looks pretty clean from the picture you showed. The Banks could be quite a few different things. But like was stated earlier its a 12V not a 24V so all you need is a screw driver :flipoff2:

Its an automatic. Not sure if the tranny was rebuilt. I bought it. Night and day difference in towing compared to my 84' 1/2 ton Suburban. Happy with it so far. :) Time to start searching info on the Banks turbo and exhaust boost it has on it. I don't want to over do it.

Looks like a nice truck. I'd start saving for a built transmission.
