I will be utilizing my stock dash lever and cable and will connect it to the toy PU e-brake system on the rear end.

Has anyone else had done this already? If yes, any info would be appreciated.

BTW, I have a “bubba block” (a chunk of wood on a rope) that I have carried and used for about 10 years. My stock cruiser t-case e-brake always worked too…but it doesn’t work at all now that I have an NP205:D

I have a toy V-6 rear in the back of my cruzer. I modified the stock cruzer ebrake cable to work with the pickup rear drums. Made a custom cable that runs from the clevis from one rear drum brake accuator lever through a small pulley block on the top of the axle housing, to the ebrake cable (have a Y type bracket from a chevy truck on the end of the cruzer ebrake cable, its a floating bracket and is held in place with a swedge) cable slides through this bracket and then goes to the other side rear drum accuator lever. I also had to lenghten the height of the rear brake drum accuator levers to so the cable would clear the top of the leaf springs. Hard to explain, picture id worth a thousand words, but unfortunately I don't have a digi camera.
If you look at the way a typical rear drum e-brake system is designed, such as a blazer, mine works on the same principal. I had to add the pulley block to the top of the axle housing for cable routing purposes, because of the location of my shocks and the exhaust. Hope this was of some assistance...:skull:

Thanks for the info guys. A t-case parking brake would be nice but I want to get the ones at the drums working first (especially since they automatically adjust the rear brakes when you use the e-brake:p ).

I got about half way through the job this weekend and will finish it this week. Ranger, I'll be coming back to reread your info. I know a picture is worth a thousands words...
Tanks:)
