: Any yoke-pro's?

Where the yokes enter the transfer case (Atlas 3.8) there are only rubber seals preventing the dirt from entering. Since I mostly do mud I'd like to add some kind of slinger between the yoke and the 'case.

Does anyone have a tip where to find such things?

TIA

Does your yoke have the spot turned down on it for the slinger to go on? Some yokes have them and others dont. Waht about tack welding on a homemade sheet metal one?

They can be ordered from a Spicer dealer.

I have a couple of pages out of the Spicer driveline catologue, and they often list 3 parts...yoke, slinger, and yoke with slinger. Not all 3 are always available for every size.
They give very precise dimensions too.

A look through the book should find you something that will work, but as mentioned, you may have to replace the yoke too, or have it turned down.

Thanks guys,
The yokes are turned down, so I'll look into Bill's suggestion. Let's hope I can find a dealer over here...

Thanks!
