What does everyone think is the best setup for a trailrig designed fro rockcrawling (ie hammers con etc) Is a lapbelt enough, or 3 point harness, or racing style 4 or 5 points? Just curous what people think is to much and what is not enough.

I have the stock 3 point in mine but have thought about adding a lap for when on trails but kind of like the idea of the sholder if I went on a wild roll?

Whats your opinions?

i always used just standard lap/shoulder belts but after rolling a few too many times, the last of which with my gf in the truck, i decided to go with 5-points. I got the camlock ones from Summit. I don't think you can go overboard with anything designed for safety. I haven't used them yet but i'm planning on using just the lap belts until i come across a hairy section, then i can strap in and let 'er rip.

i have 4poit harnesses now but in the past i have rolled with nothing but a lapbelt. for most of the wheeling situations i prefer just a lap belt but i got the 4 points for the long steep climbs that you know if you roll you will roll a few times before stopping.

hey its daver

Normal 3 point lap belt. Airplane lap belt on drivers side too.
