i'm putting a cj-7 tub on a new frame with all my running gear this winter. i want to run a hard top but i usually rub/fall on the top of my cage and dont want to bust up the top. i want to run a exo, built so i could slide the hardtop on from the back. anyone have some pics of this? or thoughts(i know your full of those)?:D

look in gen4x4 for glenns 4runner exo, same concept:D

thats what got me thinking. just wanted to see it on a jeep. guess i will by next winter.:D

You could get on of those Steel horse basket thingies would that work?:flipoff2:

I like it. i would tie the down bars into some kind of rock slider that ties into the frame, but that looks good. does the hardtop come off? thanks:D

it probably doesn't. i would make those bars in the back un-bolt if i even do bars back there.;)

Here's a cool thought... mount some sliders on the top of the hardtop and the other part on the underside of the exo cage. Then, you can slide you top on pretty easily... get what i mean? Think of it as huge kitchen drawer sliders... hehe...
