a buddy just picked up a nissan pickup...they have several pathfinders and they really seem to do well...but the pickup they got has frame rott and needs replaced...they have 2 pathfinders (all of similar years) and I was curious if the frames are the same??

they have to get pictures for me..but I was figuring either box-tubing and plating to repair the section thats gone/almost gone....but if it has a weird bend or such to the frame I wanted to chop a section out of one of the parts pathfinders and repair it with that (I know to plate and sleve the repair area..I've done a few other frame repairs...)...

just wanted to know if they all have similar frames...

oh..and I did search..really nothin on it...:D

The frame from the tcase forward should be pretty similar. Body mounts are different and engine mounts are different from 4cyl to 6cyl models. You should be able to graft in pieces fine with proper prep and plating.
