: th400/d20 output shaft question RockDonkey 05-01-2002, 08:46 PM the output shaft on my th400 has a threaded hole in the end. is there a bolt and washer that goes here or is it just there?any help would be great. i just got the combo and they were not mated. want to make sure that everything goes back together right... Edit: Had some sleep and some coffee this morning...The bull gear bolts on to the tranny and the retaining nut goes on the outside of the shaft..a hole inside the shaft...I have no idea what it's for...I guess it could be for a yoke...(This is how the manual tranny/d20's are set up...I am assuming that the auto/d20's are similiar if not the same);) smitrock 05-03-2002, 04:04 AM no nothing goes into that hole for your application that is used when you have a bolt on yoke any more questions give me a yell i have the same set up | |
