Got power and heated mirrors which I really like. However, with a dually, they are a bit lacking in their "reach". Anyone found an extending mirror for these that retain the power and heat?

On another note, anyone got a 96-01 dually bed, silver that wants to swap to a flatbed?

if you search DTR you will find you can hybrid the factory towing mirror bases (02 older) with the new (03 newer) power/heated arms/mirrors

but you end up buying (if you dont have the flip up tow mirrors) 2 full sets

and FWIW the ones Geno's sells arnt bad...

I know what you mean. I towed for the first time with mine recently, and when the trailer is empty, I can't even see it back there! The Cipas from Genos are what I'm planning on running.

I have the CIPA's on mine and am not a huge fan of them. They don't fold in at all, they'll move a little if you were to hit something but they basically don't fold. I have a short bed extend cab and mine look like dumbo ears on it. I would try and do the stock fold up mirrors if I had to do it again and deal with buying the 2 sets of morrors.

Oh yeah-mines' an 01 Dodge 2500 quad cab
