hey everyone,
I have a 1999 Dodge Quadcab 2500 4X4 with the V-10 engine. The Truck is wonderful in the hills, especially loaded with motorcycles in the back.
My issue is that I cant take the trailer places where we go in the truck, or on the motorcycles. simple solution, cabover camper.
I have about 4" of lift now, and am running 33" tires. This will increase in the near future in addition I am planning on adding 38" tires to compliment the added lift and fender clearance. (getting to one of my wifes favorite places, we scrape in a couple spots, so I would like a tad more clearence) this should easily solve the scrape issue.
I would like to keep weight rating for the rear while still adding the lift. (high center sux) has anyone done this? if so, what is the best way? I have been looking at doing a shackle flip and hanger drop? any suggestions? any suggestions for choosing a cabover camper for the boonies?
thanks
