: chevy Dana 44 Front 6 lug 3.42-3.73

i have a complete Front axle from a 77 Chevy 1/2 truck it is Complete Hub to hub still in truck .... unsure of Gear ratio but it should be either 3.73 or 3.42 ..its untoched and complete 100.00

ok the axle is still in the truck ... i dont have alot of time so for 100 ill help you pull it .. i have floor jack and jack stands and all that needed to remove it ... for 135 i can pull it and have it waiting

I'M LOOKING FOR A D-44 WITH 3.73 GEARS.I WONDER HOW WE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT GEARS ARE IN THAT AXLE? IS IT IN GOOD SHAPE?HOW MUCH RUST?:confused:

im not sure on the gears i could find out but im gonna be working the next 5 days and wont get a chance ... its in very good shape . the truck ran and drove till parted out .... rust well the truck i dont see any rust on it so what ever average rust on a california vehicle the axles build up is what i would say ... its not a rusted POS if thats what you want to know ... 530-903-1623 leave a message if i dont answer , Bill

Sup Bill.....where the hell were you with this axle a month ago. Just finished building my 44 and it cost me a lot more than $100.00...LOL.

Sorry Buddy if i knew you needed one a month ago you could have had it for free bro .... ive been parting out a 77 chevy 1/2 for 2 months now .. anything it may have you need let me know .. bout time ya got rid of that Dana 30 up front in the Nugget lol

BTW Curly .. you should see the Boat im Building . its a 65 Buck Smith 18 Flatbottom V-Drive .. Boat is Gorgeous , Motor is 1/2 built so far still piecing it together . its a 454 bored +70 472 i believe . be runnin round 650+ hp . new toy i been workin on the last couple months :)
