I have stock springs SOA, shackle reversall, the front spring is completely stretched and is flat. The rear still has some arch to it. I want something that is some what flexy, yet stiff enough to drive to the trail. I am thinking of buying all new springs, obviously something affordable. Any ideas?

I'd guess you could buy a set of stock lift springs, but why bother when you can get used ones so cheap and replace packs or leaves as needed? Are you looking for more lift?

Check the active thread "Waggies on an FJ40". for info on a good cheap option. :D

IMO, take your existing springs and find another worn out set to add leaves....adding 1-2 will stiffin them up for road use but not negatively effect your trail use. Add one in a middle position first, and see how it goes.
I run FJ55 wagon rear spring packs on the front of my FJ40...stock is 8 leaves, and I added one custom cut one....9 leaf pack. Rear consists of a similar set of FJ55 wagon rear packs, still in their stock 8 leaf configuration.
and she's flexy....RTI (like those matter) is 1000+ on a 23 degree. Trail use rocks. However, it's still pretty soft on the road...running a 10 leaf front might cure that tho.
