CJ7 fits a Scout *800*.. but it's too narrow for a Scout II..

Maybe Fleck stocks Bikinis? :D

I think a Scout II is too fat for a Bikini..better stick with a one-piece:flipoff2:

WELLLLL....
I have a bikini top for my 76 Scout II. It was a Jeep CJ5 top. Yes, it is too narrow for the Scout, but only because the ends are contoured for the frame of the CJ's windshield. Just cut of the Radius ends and grind any burr's off. Then mount the supplied snaps right to your windshield frame. I mounted the rear tension brackets to the fender wells and have used it that way untill I installed my rear family cage addition.
If interested I can try to digital photo what mine looks like.:p

Pics would be great. The wifey is going to try to make one tomarrow.

Spent today picking up aprts for my froject trucks (2)

scored a 304-T18a-D20 combo on D30F & D44R in lynwood for free

then picked up a 67 scout 800 minus axels for $50 in chimacum. All I wanted was the title, but It has a running 154-t90-D18. It has been a goat house for the last 4 years. Smells like ass. but good deal.

I'll post pic on the NW Binder BB later.

I moved to the Redmond area from Yakima, WA in February. I have owned my 1976 Scout II since 1992. It has seen many iterations throughout the years. Thankfully they have all been progressive enough to end up with a decent rig. I have been trying to work on my Scout again for the past 4 years. It seems one thing or another comes between my goals and reality!
I would like to attend a meeting as a guest...when is the next? Are they all at the Redmond Godfathers?
The main things that I need for my Scout are a front housing that is not BENT...clean up my steering slop, and finish all of the projects that I have started in the past 4 years and before...

Axle housing that is straight or a complete 3.54 disc brake replacement - so I can disc the rear!
Rewire solenoids for MileMarker winch.
Rear pinion seal replacement.
- Lincoln Locker at same time.
Finish OnBoard air system.
Install rear seats for Family.
Remount Hi-Lift and Shovels.
SSII mirror for the drivers side since I don't have doors any longer.
Longer front brake lines.

I love Scouts and the off road capabilities that they posess box stock, let alone with a few simple mods.

Tonight I will digital photo my front tracks and the vinyl top so that you can  at them...

Welcome Brethren. Its an addiction, and fellow Binder nuts like Mark and the Puget Sound Posse are the only cure. Oh and a wheeling trip a month is mandatory for sanity. (I am sain already so dont give me no shiat Mark!!) Still open but we will see what you fawkers come back with.....

We used a CJ7 top on one of our projects. Came out pretty nice. It hugged the cage perfectly. I may be a little narrow for some, but it covered just where I wanted.

My only complaint is that any speed over 80 it wanted to flap against the cage a little. I should have used the stap style instead of traditional.

I thought the top with straps IS the "traditional" bikini...

And so what if it flaps at 80? A small price to pay for the open-air benefits..

My bad, the velcro straps, the ones that wrap around the roll bar.
