Has anyone tried the Blue Torch Fabworks DIY tube fender kit? I would like to see and actual pic of them on a jeep (not a drawing like the website) before I get too serious. If you or someone you know has built them, I would like to know if it went together well. Thanks

I have a set for a tj. I dont have them welded up or anything but here are some pics of what it comes with.

I have a set of BTF tube fenders, but they're not welded together and on the Jeep yet. As soon as I get them on the TJ I'll send you the pics (it'll be awhile because I'm lacking the time at the moment). If you look hard enough, there are a fuck ton of Jeeps running them on this board. They're pretty distinct looking compared to other tube fenders so you shouldnt have a hard time finding some pics of them on a Jeep.

I would like to say though I had mine assembled by BTF when I ordered them.

Has any one had problems with the lack of a decent inner fenderwell. I wheel through mud, slop and water alot.

They all look nice. How much did BTF charge to assemble them, I suck at welding. Thanks for all of the comments and help, kit looks like a good deal.

Hey xtrusseryx, did your kit come with the flange for the shit under the hood?. On a tj there is a lot of shit, and that flange is not very big to mount that shit on. I guess i'll have to mount shit on my fire wall

Just from eye balling my unassembled BTF fenders and my TJ, I'd say that theres enough room to mount most of the stuff thats mounted to your stock fenders onto the tube fenders. Granted I havent built mine yet due to time issues, but the only thing that I for see as being an issue is the battery, which isnt that big of a deal. Those fender tops do have a fairly big mounting surface though. On top of that as far as no inner fenders are concerned, my plans are just to water proof the shit out of everything as much as possible and pray that everything is fine. Water proofing is just a good idea any way, never know when you'll hit water and mud even if you avoid it.

check out project junk yard dog page 6 on hardcore jeep.they look good, went together well and you could always put your inner fenders on them.of course you would have to cut them off your outer fenders.

I got mine in and went to assemble them. I noticed that the part that mated to the tub was short of clearing the battery box. Is it this way on all of them?
