with ram assist on a k5 are people using stock steering pump resivor? modified? or a externial res?

I used the stock reservoir and extended the neck portion with that gas filler neck hose from the parts store. I know a few people who have done it this way.

I welded a cap onto the stock reservoir with a 5/8" barbed fitting welded into it that I had cut down on the lathe. I connected that to a circle track reservoir I picked up on ebay for ~$40 shipped with 5/8" hose.
