im looking to install a 4.3 out of a 1996 chevy 1500 i have the complete truck and dont feel like paying someone to build me a custom harness. The harness i have is plenty long and just curious if anyone can give me a link or something on how to wire the harness up. If i have to i will take the harness out of the truck one wire at a time and label each and every plug. but i would rather not do that if anyone has any info it would be appreciated i know they do these swaps on many toyotas and samurais. And before anyone ask i dont want to go carb. I would like to keep the efi. I i was going to install a ford v6 like the 4.0 or 3.8 but the trans are crazy long. I ran across the chevy truck some drunk ran into a ditch and bought it off him for $800. Im tight on funds now and have a pretty good electrical background so its pointless for me to pay someone excess of $300 to build me a harness. Haynes manual doesnt have a really good scymatic and i dont know anyone at the chevy dealer to print me out the scymatics i need. Any help would be appreciated.
