well my old little hyperthem 380 got stolen about 5-6 months ago, along with my mm210 and a bunch of other stuff. Im going to replace the welder and the plasma and i know i want to step up in size on the plasma and want to set up a cnc table sometime in the near future. Ive read that the 1000 had problems (well not so clean cuts) on hell i think like 3/8" on the table, but how about the 1250, as far as the cnc stuff goes i probably wont cut a whole bunch of stuff thicker than 3/8". The machine will probably be running a good bit of the time when im at the shop. any suggestions?????

I have the 1000 hooked up to a cnc and love it. I can cut 3/8 nice but not on small diameter holes. They will cone more than I like. I actually have cut some 1/2 inch and a piece or two of 5/8 and it works decent. The 1/2 inch is good but the only holes I cut in it were 2 inch diameter. If you get the 1250 it will cut up to 3/4 on a table but the holes will suffer a bit. It would do 1/2 and under nicely. I've never had a cut problem with the 1000 that wasnt my fault. You have to have clean, DRY air and be sure to set the peirce time longer to get through a thicker peice of material.
