when welding rectangular tubing at an angle which of the following methods is better for cutting and butt-welding and why?

i have but welded a lot of things together and nothing has failed yet i grind the edges down for more pentration

I don't think it matters if it is a good weld. If ya suck, A version might be better because there is more to weld. I would but weld it. Its easier.

I would not think that it matters that much. Like they said, as long as it is a good weld, you should not have any problem. Just make sure that you are able to get the two pieces in version A "right" next to each other. No gaps! That would be the only downfall with that option.
