I am going to weld up my 14 bolt. Do ya think a Lincoln 100 will be enough power to do the job if I make several passes? Its running gas not flux wire.

I have done it with a 130 amp 110v mig. As long as you do a good prep, preheat the gears and have a good ground it will be fine. You have to do a good weld too. Shitty welds with a small machine wont cut it.;)

:D Dont you hate it when you get the answer you expected but didnt want to hear? Any welders in Fresno area need some beer? Well since I am as amature as they come for a welder I need to call a buddy, Damn I dont to drive 45 minutes just to have this thing welded..... but then I dont want it to break either so where is the phone?

The other guy posted it but I have to add to it.   :flipoff2:

You would get better results with 3 batterys, some jumpercables and some rod.
