Looked way better in person at the expo. Same booth had several 47 spline 300m gun drilled shafts to show off, too:eek: He said those guys are breaking the 40 spline axles too often...

Very very nice, but the Trevor Harris designed IRS on the new Pflueger TT has "raised the bar" for TT rear ends.

I believe another name for a "Chrisman" is a Ford 9".....that has been clearanced for a 10" ring gear and had a few other things done to it to fit larger bearings of course. But yes, that is most likely what it would use.

Nice, I'v ebeen wondering who would be the first to run an IRS TT. There is still more that can be done as long as theri is money.

I take it by IRS you mean A-arms in the rear. There have been a few Trailing Arm TT's (aka "Bucks" - a buggy with a truck body on it).
I was kinda hoping for some more info on the Pflueger TT...I KNOW there are some people here that know more then they are letting on...

sitting it on a milk crate is probably to show how light it is....try that with a regular 9" housing

It's definitely not the first IRS TT. Remember Ivan Stewart's Toyota?
I think the Dondel TT also used A-arms, but it might have had trailing arms and I wouldn't be surprised if there have been a few more that I don't know about.

Hmm, wasn't aware of that. Mostly just see the rear axled trucks. We don't have a ton of baja exposure in SD. :flipoff2:
And yeah I'm with you, someone's got the info..

I knew I had a pic of it. It's a crappy camera phone pic but you get the idea.

OK. Then the problem is that there's no such thing as strong enough transmissions/transaxles...
