We used this stuff in one of my classes that is made just for that application. It is made by the lock-tite corporation and it fills gaps up to 20 thousands (sp?). It comes in a white tube and is grey metallic in color. It is basically a bearing or bushing adhesive. You put it in the gap, they allow it to set. After that, it is as if you had good and tight press fit on the bearing, bushing or bearing race. I can't remember the name of it right now, but I could find that out for you. The teacher that told us about it, said he has used it countless times in securing bearings for his business and sons motorcycles.
