i have a 1987 Dodge Dana 44 flattop knuckle and i was wondering if this knuckle is worth drilling it out for a high steer. i am going to use it for a chevy 10 bolt i have on the passenger side.

i have heard that these late dodge knuckles are not so great for flat tops but i need more opinions before i put money into them

Or has anyone turned these type of knuckles in to high steer kunckles and had any problems with them. due to the thinner casting by the brake bracket mounts??

any input would be good.

Mr.N has a site that lists all the bad knuckles/ways to make them high steer

Dodge late, mid 80's to early 90's. Notice the thin area at the edge of the knuckle where the brakes run. This knuckle has several marginal points, you maybe better finding something else if not running a Dodge.
