I would like to know the specs(HP and torque) for the ford F-150 1995 5.8L injection engine. I would also like to know what is the difference between the normal and the lightning. Lot of web page don't tell the same thing about hp and torques lbs and they also tell about lightning performance. What make a lightning? Also, how can i boost this engine a little with minimal cost?

The First gen. lightnings used a 351w with cast iron GT-40 heads instead of the stock E7TE truck heads. The GT-40 heads had 1.84/1.54" valves and bigger runners, as opposed to the 1.78/1.45 valves in the E7TE's. I might be mistaken, but I also believe they used a roller cam. I don't know the power specs on either, I'm guessing around 220-230hp, 300-320lb/ft for a stock 5.8L EFI, but I really have no idea. The lightning will be slightly higher.

hi - 5.8 mass air fords have 210 hp@5000 and 315 tq @3000 - and factory roller cams - speed densidy 5.8 had 205 hp and 300 tq at the same rpm - the lightning ( first gen ) have the ubove mentioned gt 40 heads and intake - it looks more like a mustang engine ( single throttle body ) 245 hp and 340 tq - i have a 95 5.8 mass air with 255k and still runs great - ( though i dont think it still has the 215 hp :D :D )

The engine is 1995 and automatic(for now). I want to put it in front of a np435. Wich bellhousing and clutch it take? Had look at ebay but belllhousing and clutch compatibility engine seem to stop at 1994 concerning engine...What's the problem with 1995 engine? What do i need to put the np435? Do all the 351 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern?

There's nothing different about a 1995 351w, it's just that by that point, the 4 speed was finally dead, and only the ZF 5 speed(integral bell) was offered behind it. Any 300 I-6, truck 302, or 351W bellhousing will work for your application. The fun part may be finding a flywheel, it needs to be from a 351W(mid 82-97 in a truck) or pre 81 302 to have the correct imbalance. I could probably round you up the parts here, but, by the time they were shipped, it'd probably be more cost effective to buy a new flywheel...

yes. It is used to having an auto transmission to control. You can probably get a chip made for it to make the computer ignore the fact there is no transmission. Your truck "should" run tho.
