I'm in the process of upgrading and semi-restoring my wife's stock 67 Bronco. It's got the stock 3 speed now. She won't let me install an auto. She like's to shift. I don't like the performance of the 3 speed or the PITA colume shifter. I've had the 3 speed floor conversion shifters and don't like them either. Is there a 4 or 5 speed toploader I can put in that will bolt up and work with the Dana 20?

Do you mean without spending $1000 @ Advanced Adapters?

Doesn't the T-5 (Mustang) have the same bolt pattern as the NP435?

Yep, without spending that $1000. Since her's will only be a grocery getter and fun truck I'm wondering if there are any of the BII or Rangers that would bolt up to the flywheel and I could just use their t-case. Or if there is a Mustang or other Ford truck 4 or 5 speed I could use. I don't mind using a different transfer case or modifying the crossmember either. A nice newer easy shifting 4 or 5 speed with od would make a trip to SOB much nicer.
