: Are 450 lb./in springs too siff for a small YJ?

Is 450 lb./in too stiff of a spring to put on a small YJ with 33s or 35s? I'm not gonna run 38s or 40s or anything monsterous anytime soon.

I think so, especially when you consider that the stock springs are closer to 150 lb/in.

I think stock is 185 lb/in, my springs are 4" and run 225 lb/in, which seems a little stiff. 450 lb/in's would be brutal .

more research on the waggy spring YJ lift.
Rusty's 4" FSJ front springs have been reported to be 310 lbs./in if this is true. I think I'm gonna order some up.
