ok, i was out in the garage and just thought of something while looking at the rear diff....... what if i turned my 3rd. member upside down to make a high pinion???? my rear end is welded so i don't have to worry about the gears getting lubed. enough cause they don't move anymore, just the ring gear and that is getting enough oil....... but would i be able to do it??? what about the front??? my front is an open diff so would it make much of a differance???? just anouther idea that came into mind and probility head right back out cause it probliitly won't work...... thanks guys.....

Just mill a new cam, oil pump belt tensioner so the engine can run backwards and it will work. Why doesn't anyone look at the small fors IFS front ring gears and see if they are close to the same size like the dana 27 or 35 and see how close the ring size is. And if it is Use the housing as a sand cast mold and make the mold have a flange so you can put those gears in the sami? Like I said I dont know any thing about those ford gears, but if the 35 is close it may work. I heard the ARB sami locker is a modified dana 35!

You could always use a toy hipion. The one in the front of my rig gave me sweet clearance and good ujoint angles. I got my toy hp center for $50 (a serious bargain) but others in my club have found them regularly for around $200ish, they are $250 new. Not bad compared to what people pay for other hp stuff.

heck I am using the longer slip yokes from brent and I still had to clearance them a little,I could not imagine using spacers.that would make it worse.I need a cv for the rear shaft with my toy axle..any body got one they wanna sell?

11" ?????????

were did you learn your math? 6" SPOA + 2" body= 8" anywhere east of Nova Scotia. Even with the CJ springs? Unless you are counting tire lift too :flipoff2:

no john...........i know my math........:flipoff2: ........... thats measuring from top of axle to bottom of frame on my dads stock zuki and same place on mine then subtract to find the lift.........and it works out to be 9" and my 2" body lift.......... not sure how it got that big cause the cj packs arn't all that much arch........ but thats how it measures out......
:D
and john, what program do you use for photo choping???
