: 14 bolt disc brakes

If I recall, 14bFF that have the ribbed centersection (1987 and up?) are not disc brack compatible with these kits. I think it is because the 1987-2006 14bFF are designed so that you can removed the drum WITHOUT having to take the whole hub assembly off. The hub stays on and the drum comes off, so you probably don't even have to remove the axle shafts to remove/replace the drums on these 14bFF's. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I also read that DIY4x4 is coming out with a disc brake bracket that mounts dual calipers per wheel. There should be a preliminary pic on their website.

Here's a kit for the 1988 2nd generation 14bFF I mentioned. I wasn't aware someone was making a kit for these.

I think even walmart is carrying them now
