does any one know if a 93aw4 will bolt up to a 96 5.2 in place of the 44re my tranny is shot and I have a aw4 at the house but will it work????? any help would be great.

NO, wrong bolt pattern on the bellhousing.

There is no AW4 that will work with that engine.

Get a GOOD rebuild on what you have, and it will hold up, unless you are REALLY hard on things.
