After his hit in Colorado.

How's Brian doing?

From what I heard, he was released that day with no injuries... Taking him to the hospital was a very good precaution---damn those kirkey seats have gotta hurt! I'm sure Brian can give you the full rundown.

PS. Brian, GO FASTER!!! :flipoff2:

Talked to Brian last week and he is doing just fine.:) He said the seat didn't hurt him but he had some brusing from the 5 point harness. Sounds like he is ready to start on his new rig for next season.

Im doing just fine. They released me from the hospital late that day. I have a lot of bruising on my back and from the harnesses, a really banged up elbow, and several cuts, but nothing major. After about a week on muscle relaxers and pain killers, I was fine.

We all know that Kirkey seats arent the best, but I dont think that was the major culprit. I do have a crushed velvet PRP sitting in the living room waiting to go in the rig though. I am very thankful I did get the 3" wide padded harness in though. As bad as the bruising was with the nice, cushy harness, I think it could have caused more injury if I had anything less.

As far as the course that I crashed on, I thought Mike did an awesome job with it. Yes it was a risk, and yes it was dangerous, but there was a bypass. I really enjoyed the event and though the XRRA crew did a great job yet again. I absolutely did not have my game face on for that course, and it showed.

Thanks for your concerns...

Holy crap, what about the poor bastard(sorry, not sure who it is) at about the 30 second mark on that vid. He and his passenger should still be in the hospital.
