I am looking for a quality 241 slip yolk eliminator. At a nice price of course. Any body out there have one in their rig that can give me a review? Easy install? I rebuilt my 241 awhile ago (pretty easy to do) I would imagine it's pretty easy to install. I found this kit when I was surfing http://www.jeepbox.com/np231.htm anybody know if it's any good?
Also I think Jess 'ONETONCV' makes one too and a ebrake, anybody got some info on that or any others?
Thanx
I'm pretty sure that 88-92 dodge ramchargers came factory with a 241 with a yoke output....... if you can't get a kit you might try searching the yards..
BTW these were the ones with the huge plastic chrome grille and the BroncoII style rear windows..

I've only heard of the one from jeepbox.com and the one from jesse. I want to do the one from jesse with the e-brake because I have rear disk w/o an E-Brake.

well it looks like my 241 kit is a bit higher 325.00 - and to use the e-brake kit you have to use the one ton c/v - Jess

I am curious about the yolk from the dodge fitting and how beefy it is, or is it the same as jeep box and Jess'. Anybody? Also I was wondering about a gear reduction for it does anybody know of one, Mepco or something? Right now I am at about 80:1 crawl. Not to bad but..

Jess-I was looking at JB conversions 241c SYE and then someone told me you had one too. You're right, at $325, yours is a little higher. Is yours any different from JB conversions as far as materials used, etc. Thanks for the input, like the last post mentioned, there aren't many reviews on the install of these (although I might change that soon:D ), so I'm just trying to make the most informed decision I can before purchasing.

Jess I have a Dodge 241 would like to go with a rear CV, problem is driveshaft will be short, around 16 inches from current yoke to yoke. Can I use your E brake?, and if I do will my driveshaft be smaller than if I just go with your 1 ton CV without the E brake

I can tell you that the 241 SYE kits from Jeepbox and Tellico 4X4 (same outfit) are the JB conversions kit. They just distribute it. I got mine through Tellico 4x4 for $275.
Thing is, their service was beyond terrible. If I had it to do all over again, I'd either pay a little extra and buy straight from JB or order Jess's kit. It took them close to two months to get it right.
HTH,
