Was this ment to be a reply to my post under "Whaddya think of my truck?"

anyway... http://www.colute.net/cwm/cwm/cwm/eek2.gifman Im glad to see that AK is not the only state to have ghetto rigs like mine. (I bought mine for the tires, I promise!)
It does have something close to 100 to 1 crawl ratio, and a winch though.

Shit those are scarry, I thought mine was bad. Talk about high COG! http://www.contrabandent.com/cwm/s/cwm/cwm/puke.gif

Trucks without some type of roll protection scare me. I know that they probably drive reall slow, and have alot of weight down low with the big tires and heavy axles and the like, But there is just no excuse for this...

I was thinking the same about the cage thing, but I bet they are real slow.......I don't think there are many hills in Florida to worry about rolling on, probably only ditches and such.....:D :D

I think it would be cool to go out and wheel/mud in one of those, just wouldn't really want to get out of the vehicle.;)

Roll overs don't ahppen too often in these, and generally when they do, it is in VERY DEEP water. Generally operator error when they drive into a canal. These things travel very slow, 2 trannies is common, and some have 2 t-cases as well.
Since they are in water & travel so slow, one of the tricks they use for the gear oil in the axle is synthetic grease. In the trannies they are using synthetc oils so the water don't mix as easily.

Actually, the ride isn't too bad, cosidering the air pressure is kept low!
