: What to strip from a TT?

I am headed towards building a toter conversion next year.

Right now I got the opportunity to strip what I need from a couple of travel trailers. Haven't seen the trailers yet, but they're supposed to be halfway decent considering the price. :)

What should I aim for? I'm thinking stove, propane valves and connectors, fridge, windows, water heater, water pump, inverter if there is one, furnace, a/c.

Anything else come to mind? Any electrical stuff I should pull?

Holding tanks & dump valves maybe? Assuming you're trying to be self contained.

jacknife sofa, dinette, shower/toilet, microwave, sink, watersystem- just leave a shell behind- better to pull it than wish you had

Everything you have the tools to remove without destroying. After that, destroy everything else hooked to what you need to get the needed items. Or, how many otherwise unnecessary trips do you want to have to make to parts houses when you do your build.

The dude down the highway from me still hasn't sold the MH section of that wrecked Class C rig. He cut the frame behind the wrecked cab section and added a 4x3 bootyfabbed tongue that failed the minute he tried to pull it. There it still sits complete with dually rear, front end grounded.

I'm tempted to stretch my Super Duty crewcab dually frame and set that sucker on top of it. :D
